Thinking Maps

Our primary visual thinking tool is Dr. Hyerle’s eight Thinking Maps. When working with the content of the curriculum, the pupils choose a Thinking Map or Maps to help them process the content. Depending on the Thinking Map or Maps the pupils choose to present their understanding of the content in the curriculum, will reflect the level of thinking they are at, and the thought process or processes they are practicing. The Thinking Maps can be applied to all areas of the curriculum.
